Almanacs serve to record religious feast, seasonal changes, and the like. It is a book or table containing a calendar of a given year, with a record of various astronomical phenomena, often with weather predictions, and other information.

Information Please: Combines the contents of an encyclopedia, a dictionary, and several up-to-the minute almanacs loaded with statistics, facts, and historical records.
Old Farmer's Almanac: Includes much of the information found in the print version such astronomy, weather, gardening, and cooking.
