"Get It! Guelph" Service Enhancement

You may notice a new box as you explore journal databases which the Library provides access to.

When you see a "GET IT! Guelph" button within an article, clicking it will bring you back to a screen which will show you whether the Library has any subscriptions which provide access to this resource. If you scroll down on this "GET IT! Guelph" page, you may (depending on whether bXrecommender has found related articles) see a "BX beta" window which provides links and citation information for articles which are similar to the article you're currently looking at.

The bXrecommender service is a trial service which runs until the end of July. We'd love to hear what you think of this new service!

FIXED: Potential Gryphmail interruption

Uoguelph.ca is now back. Mail is now being delivered properly. You can resume sending email to external people. ---------------------------------------------------------- Hello Everybody: It has come to our attention the the uoguelph.ca domain has been suspended and is not available when you try to search it in a web browser. This may also affect Gryphmail email being sent out to external sites as the domain cannot be resolved. When Guelph has more information we will update you at that time. Thanks, GH Library Services

MAINTENANCE ALERT: off-campus access to Library resources

The "OffCampus SignOn", which allows access to Library restricted resources from off-campus will be unavailable due to maintenance, March 23, from 6 AM to 8 AM. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Having trouble getting full text from ScholarsPortal?

We are currently experiencing intermittent difficulties connecting to ScholarsPortal full text articles using Internet Explorer. If you are unable to link to full text articles from the Get It menu, or when using Ares,please try an alternate web browser such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome. The folks at Scholars Portal are working on resolving this issue, which is only rearing its ugly head on occasion in Internet Explorer.

New resource: Constitutions of the Countries of the World

We have a new electronic resource available.

Title: Constitutions of the Countries of the World

Description: This resource brings you the full text of the constitutions of over 190 countries. Included are notes which examine recent amendments to a particular constitution and highlights pertinent historical, legal, political and economic information not found in other sources.

Available through Primo and the Journal Articles list (currently listed under Political Science and Government Information subject headings).
