Print Reserves

Placing books, book chapters, articles and class notes on reserve is a great way to improve access to materials and required readings for your students. Guelph-Humber provides print reserve services for items physically located at the Humber Library.

Please keep in mind that all reserve items must comply with the copyright agreement between Access Copyright and Humber and/or the University of Guelph. If you have any questions concerning copyright, please speak with Lisa DiBarbora, at ext. 5593, Humber's copyright specialist.

Placing Print Materials on Reserve at Guelph-Humber

  • Please complete a Reserve Request Form (PDF – 350kb). Fill it out electronically, print it out and either give it to your Faculty Liaison or bring it directly to the Humber College circulation desk along with your materials.
  • Please supply copies of all books or photocopied materials, if available.
  • Materials can be signed out for a limited period of time, usually 1, 2 or 3 hours.
  • Generally, 2 days is needed to fulfill a reserve request. However, if you are unable to supply the materials and the materials must be purchased, it is a good idea to place your request well in advance.
  • All items placed on reserve must comply with Humber's Access Copyright Agreement
